Conforming to legislation and the ever-changing requirements of the local authorities can be a logistical nightmare. Pitfalls for the unwary abound, ranging from the Licensing Act 2003 which set entirely new requirements for premises and entertainments licences, plus other legislation and regulations relating to training, health and safety, risk assessments, data protection and infrastructure, coupled with the requirement to use only trained and SIA certified stewards and marshalls whenever the public is involved, plus the need due diligence checking by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Scottish Criminal Records Office (SCRO) where children are involved.

We can provide advice and checking all the above, dealing on your behalf with the local authorities and the emergency services, and helping you write suitable risk assessments. In addition, we can arrange for PA , stages, canopies, marquees, radios, insurance, stage and safety lighting, first aid services and so on. We can arrange safe licenced parades for carnivals, christmas, etc, and arrange for the most spectacular firework displays you have ever seen at a price which will make you go ooh! ah! - (in the best possible way). Have a look at our resources page

As if that wasnt enough we also book or put you in touch with any kind of entertainer, street band, workshop leader, professional samba band, jazz band, ethnic dancer, stiltwalkers, jugglers, stallholders, paraders - in fact everything you need to make a day go with a nice, safe bang.

We also specialise in Christmas light switch-ons - we create parades of light, either on foot or illuminated motorised features that really are lit up! We also have access to WW11 searchlights, illuminated balloons, kites and skyshow lights.

Illuminati's Dorian Kelly also manages Colchester International Street Arts Festival on behalf of Colchester Festival Association and elements of the Hythe Heritage Fun Day on behalf of the East Colchester Regeneration group.

We have tremendous plans between now and 2012, culminating in an absolutely huge event.
